Motorhome Contemporary retreat located on the Australian coastline

What you see here is a contemporary retreat, a getaway located on the Australian coastline. The house was envisaged as a semi-retirement home so it’s at the border between home and holyday house. That’s why it had to have a special design that could combine them both. The conditions set were ambiguous and so is the final design. As for the internal structural, there’s a metal clad box located on one side that contains the bedrooms and bathroom. This way the private areas could be detached from the rest of the house.

On the other side there’s an elevated open floor plan where the kitchen is located. It leads to the living and dining area, defined by a north facing polycarbonate clad wall that draws light into the house. The exterior design is modern and ambiguous and when seen from outside it doesn’t make it clear as for what is hidden inside. Nevertheless, the interior space seems to be well defined into separated spaces.found on archdaily
